When a customer is introducing a new departmental system to their organisation which requires
integrating with their current suite of systems, Egress can assist with either all or part of the
implementation process including specification analysis, design, development, and testing.
Where there are difficulties with existing integration between systems, or an
organisation is conducting a business transformation programme, Egress can carry out a detailed strategic
and technical review. As part of the review the Egress integration consultants will examine the customer’s
current infrastructure, understand complex user processes and the effects on data workflow.
From this analysis the limitations of their in-scope systems and processes can be established as
defined within a capability map, providing a report which will include options, recommendations and advice.
Integration deployed within a healthcare setting is implemented based around HL7 and FHIR
specification and supports administrative and clinical functions as well as supporting active
Population Health programmes.
